API and Systems Integration

Connecting the systems you already run so information moves reliably between them.

Most organizations do not have a single system; they have several, and the gaps between them are filled by people. Integration work closes those gaps with documented, monitored interfaces.

We design and build APIs, connect third-party services, and work through the architectural questions that determine whether an integration remains maintainable as both sides change.

Scope

What the work includes

API development

Versioned interfaces with authentication, granular permissions, pagination, validation, and rate limiting — designed for the consumers who will actually use them.

Third-party integrations

Connections to payment processors, accounting systems, CRMs, shipping carriers, marketing platforms, identity providers, and industry-specific software.

Software architecture

Deciding what should be one system and what should be several, where the source of truth lives for each type of record, and how services communicate.

Data migration

Moving records between systems with validation, reconciliation reports, and a rehearsed cutover plan.

Monitoring and alerting

Visibility into whether integrations are running, what failed, and what needs to be replayed — so problems are found before customers report them.

Detail

Integration realities we plan for

Third-party systems go offline, change their interfaces, deprecate versions, and impose rate limits. We design integrations that queue work, retry safely without duplicating records, and record enough detail to reconstruct what happened.

Where a vendor’s interface is limited or its terms restrict what may be done, we will tell you before the work begins rather than discovering it mid-project.

Deliverables
